Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026 · Applies to My Era for iOS, version 2.0 and later

This policy explains what the My Era app ("My Era", "the app", "we", "us") does with your data. My Era is developed by Oleksandr Khnykin (AiTrendTool), who is the controller of the data described here. Contact: [email protected].

The short version: there is no account. Your profile, your photos and the measurements of your face stay on your phone. Your photo leaves the phone only when you ask the app to draw your daily scene, and your question leaves it only when you ask the AI oracle. Both go to the AI providers named below, only after you agree in the app, and we keep no copy. My Era is for entertainment.

1. Data that stays on your phone

These are stored only on your device (in the app's storage, the iOS Keychain and, for the home-screen widget, a storage area shared with the widget). We cannot see them.

  • Your profile: first name, date of birth, optional time and place of birth, and your answers to the onboarding questions (what you are looking for, what worries you, how you feel about what is ahead).
  • Your selfie and the daily scenes and predictions created for you.
  • Face measurements. When you add a selfie, the app uses Apple's Vision framework on your device to find points on your face and compute six proportions (for example the width of the face relative to its height, or the distance between the eyes). These are rounded into broad bands and turned into a symbolic "print" and an aura signature. The measurements are never sent to us, to the AI providers or to analytics. They are not used to identify you, to recognise you in other photos, for advertising or for any kind of profiling. They are not a biometric identifier: they cannot be turned back into your face.
  • Settings such as the language, notification time and reminders. Notifications are scheduled locally on the phone.

When you search for your place of birth, the search text is sent to Apple's map search service (MapKit) to suggest places; this is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

You can erase all of the above at any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my data. Deleting the app also removes it, except for profile fields kept in the iOS Keychain, which "Delete my data" removes.

2. Data sent to AI providers, only with your consent

Before anything is sent, the app shows a screen that says what goes where, and asks you to agree. If you decline, nothing is sent and the rest of the app keeps working. The requests go through our server (a Cloudflare Worker), which passes them on and does not store them.

WhenWhat is sentTo whom and why
You ask the app to draw your daily scene Your selfie and a short text describing the day's prediction (with your name taken out) OpenAI checks that the image is safe and describes it; Replicate runs the image model that draws the scene. The result comes back to your phone.
You ask the oracle a question The question you typed or picked, your zodiac sign, today's card and prediction text (with your name taken out) and your onboarding answers as categories OpenAI checks the question and the answer for harmful content and writes the answer.

We do not keep your photo, your questions or the answers on our server. The providers process them under their API terms: OpenAI does not use API data to train its models and may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring (OpenAI privacy policy); Replicate keeps API inputs and outputs for a short time, about one hour, and then deletes them (Replicate privacy policy). Your date of birth, place of birth, first name and face measurements are not sent.

Each request carries a random app identifier created on your phone (it is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID). Our server uses it only to apply daily limits. Short technical logs (errors and blocked requests, without your photo or the text of your question) are kept by Cloudflare for a few days.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with Delete my data; the app will ask again before sending anything.

3. Analytics and app stability

To understand how the app is used and to fix problems, we use:

  • Mixpanel: which screens and buttons are used, purchase steps, app version, device model, language, approximate country (from the network address, which Mixpanel does not keep), and the random app identifier. If you write to us through a feedback form in the app, or report an oracle answer, that text (the answer, not your question) is sent to Mixpanel so we can read it.
  • Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config): usage statistics, crash reports and remote settings for the app.

Analytics never receives your photo, your face measurements, your name, your birth data or the questions you ask the oracle. We do not use advertising, we do not sell data and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not ask for or use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

4. Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active; it receives the purchase receipt from Apple and the random app identifier.

5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)

  • Consent for sending your photo and questions to the AI providers. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Performance of a contract for providing the app and your subscription.
  • Legitimate interests for analytics, crash reports and preventing abuse, limited to the data described above.

6. How long we keep data

  • On your phone: until you delete it in the app or delete the app.
  • Photos and questions: not stored by us; providers keep them only as described in section 2.
  • Analytics and crash data: as long as needed to improve the app, and no longer than 24 months.
  • Purchase records: as long as required for accounting and to restore your purchases.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent. Most data is only on your phone and you control it directly. For analytics data, write to [email protected]; we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. International transfers

OpenAI, Replicate, Mixpanel, Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by these providers.

9. Security

All connections use encryption (TLS). Data on your phone is protected by iOS, and profile fields are kept in the Keychain.

10. Children

My Era is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data. If you believe a child has used the app's AI features, write to us and we will help delete what we can.

11. What My Era is

My Era is an entertainment app. Face reading, astrology and the oracle's answers are used here as a symbolic language, not as science. Nothing in the app says anything about your character, health or abilities, and nothing in it is medical, financial, legal or relationship advice.

12. Changes

If we change how the app uses data, we will update this page and the date above, and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply.
